Going Green Is Nothing New for CSS
Whether you are 9 or 90, you constantly hear of recycling and going
“green”. We have been recycling
for decades now
and encourage others businesses to do the same.
“Going
Green” is not a new concept and it doesn’t take
anything
special…just a little time to become aware of the trash you
toss
and get into the habit of recycling. We at Crabtree Siding
&
Supply recycle aluminum cans from our drink machine, cardboard,
aluminum scrap, paper, and vinyl/plastics. Many of which are
items we receive on a weekly and sometimes daily basis with incoming
freight. To start is simple…place a recycle bin
next to
the drink machine, or place a paper recycle box next to each desk in
the office. You will be surprised at the amount of trash you
will
save from the landfill and allow for reuse through recycling.
We
live in an age of instant messaging, everything is at our fingertips
and on demand, food arrives fully prepared within seconds, and not to
forget that water flows from the tap with just the lift of a
lever. Recycling may take an extra second or two during your
day,
but in a short while, you will be in the habit of sorting trash, and be
a better steward of the land that God has blessed us with.
